2. Staircase Facing the Front Door
The front door is referred to as the “mouth of Chi,” where energy enters and flows into the home. If a staircase is positioned directly in front of the entrance, the energy will rush upstairs or downstairs too quickly, leaving the main floor deprived of vital energy.
3. Bathroom Facing the Front Door
A bathroom located opposite the entrance can drain the home’s energy, as Chi will flow directly into the bathroom and exit through the plumbing and drains. This leaves the rest of the home without a proper energy balance.
4. Bathroom in the Center of the Home
According to Feng Shui principles, the center of the home serves as the balancing point of Yin and Yang energy. Ideally, this space should be open and well-lit to distribute energy harmoniously. A bathroom in the center is considered undesirable, as it can disrupt the energy flow throughout the home.
5. Master Bedroom Above the Garage
A master bedroom situated directly above a garage is considered an unstable location in Feng Shui. The constant movement of cars entering and exiting creates disruptive energy, which contradicts the bedroom’s intended purpose of rest, tranquility, and relaxation.
6. Long, Narrow Hallways
A long and narrow corridor can lead to excessively fast-moving energy, which creates imbalance. On the other hand, if energy moves too slowly, it can result in stagnation and a feeling of being stuck.
