Updated Purchase Tax Rates for 2021

As published by the Israeli Tax Authority, applicable from January 16, 2021, to January 15, 2022, for the purchase of a single residential property.

✔ No tax on the portion of the property’s value up to ₪1,747,865.
✔ 3.5% tax on the portion of the value exceeding ₪1,747,865 and up to ₪2,073,190.
✔ 5% tax on the portion of the value exceeding ₪2,073,190 and up to ₪5,348,565.
✔ 8% tax on the portion of the value exceeding ₪5,348,565 and up to ₪17,828,555.
✔ 10% tax on the portion of the value exceeding ₪17,828,555.
